ReplyDeleteI have a black 2004 Chevy truck. The paint was in pretty good shape as I take care of it. However, I did have some water spots on the left front fender and part of the hood from parking next to a sprinkler. I used as directed and the results were great. It is easy to use. Just spray, wipe on, and buff a little with a towel. No mess, no powder residue, and easy. Took me about 30 minutes to do the whole truck and I'm old and slow. Just to see how good this works, I started on the inside of the truck bed. It has never been waxed and needs a lot of help. This detailer brought back the factory shine. The next day, I had to take it in to the Chevy dealer for service and not only did the service mgr. comment on how great my truck looked. Also, the mechanic who worked on it and another mechanic who is his buddy. Since they see a lot of vehicles, I guess this is as good a testimonial as any. I would definately buy this product again.

ReplyDeleteI have a 2007 Pontiac Solstice I wax my car ever three months and use Ice detailer after everytime I wash my car. It works great. It leaves a real nice shine. I even use it after a few days after my car has been washed (if the car is just dusty). I really recommend this product.

ReplyDeleteI've been using this product after every wash in between wax jobs and I'm really happy with the results, after every application it looks like i just got done waxing and leaves the paint glass smooth with a great look and touch. Not to mention it takes a fraction of the time to do instead of a hard wax and looks just as good in my opinion. I've been a fan of all of the ICE products and feel they give your car a great look that i haven't found with using other products. Give it a shot and you won't be disappointed.

ReplyDeleteI have been a long time user of Meguiar's Quik Detailer Spray. It's cheap, available everywhere, and works. However, after using Turtle Wax Ice Spray Detailer, I have found a new love.
The Turtle Wax Spray Detailer costs almost twice and much as the Meguiar's, but the results are amazing. The lable on the bottle claims that Ice does not streak, and that is indeed the truth. After leaving work late last night I noticed the roof of my car was fogged up from the dew, and you could not see any streaking like with the Meguiar's detailer spray. That's quite impressive as my car is black.
The only downfall of the Turtle Wax Ice is that it doesn't seem to remove the water spots and splattered bugs from the car as good as the Meguiar's. Other than that, the product is perfect and I highly recommend it. I wish I could get my windows as streak free as my paint! (This spray is not recommended for glass).

ReplyDeleteI have a Nissan Altima SE-R, "Super Black". This product really can be used to detail in the bright sunlight with no streaking or ill effects. I don't think it hides the buffs and fine scratches as well as Meguiars NXT Generation detailer, but is great as a "keep in the trunk" mobile detail product. No smearing, almost no need to buff off.
It works great on top of Meguiars NXT wax, but works especially well on top o the ICE wax product. For those who detail at least weekly, the ICE WAX used along with this product do a great job of hiding blemishes on black paint.
