The first time I tried this product, it was on a black GMC truck (outside temp about 55degrees and sunny). I apparently used too much product (and poor quality MF cloths) and had streaks and white residue on my hood and windshield. Discouraged, I contacted Turtle Wax to see if it was my application or a problem with the product. Second time, I used this on a my daily driver (late evening after a wash approx 70 deegrees). I lightly misted each panel (changed to better MF cloths) and WOW what a marketable difference. Very impressive shine, no residue, and incredibly easy to remove. It rained two days later and the vehicle beaded relentlessly. I do not buy spray waxes as a stand alone wax rather as a booster, so durability is a non issue to me. In this, TW Ice Spray wax is an excellent product and can be used on windows.

I decided to try it and I got two bottles. I carefully read the instructions and follow them but the results were disappointing. It is so hard to remove and it feel like I was applying some oily substance over your car by mistake that it won't come off to leave the shiny surface that will pay off all your efforts, instead it leaves some areas that look like oily or greasy. I had to use a motorized buffer to finally remove it. I tried the second bottle just to get the same results; my personal opinion is that this is a very bad product. I was using the "Turtle Wax T-470B ICE Synthetic Spray Detailer" before I purchased this and I got better results. I finally ended up purchasing Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detailer and I have been happy ever since.

Tried this today on a black car. In my opinion it worked much better than anything I have tried so far including Mothers and Zaino. My paint was recently deep cleaned, and I needed a protective layer that was easy to use. Decided to give this a try. Very quick to use, applied two coats one on top of the other without waiting. I think one coat would have probably been enough. The shine is unbelievable...just like the show car pics you see online. The metallic flakes really pop on my pearl black paint. Only thing is it seemed dust particles etc. were sticking easily...so I applied a layer of a Zaino Z8 spray seal (a quick gloss enhancer). That solved the problem. Best part is I used the ice spray wax on ALL the surfaces...chrome, rubber, glass...so EASY! This is how car care should be. The reviewer who complained about oily streaks etc. probably applied it on top of previously applied waxes etc. My car was completely free of any previously applied product. I found this to be much better than ice liquid polish which was very nice visually but greasy and hard to buff on a black car. The greasiness left fingerprints etc. I used it once and now only use it on plastic trim, wheel wells, etc. I also bought ice liquid clay bar to try on my wife's black car next week. Ice seems to be the way to go for me...after trying many other options for almost a year. Since I will be using the spray wax at least monthly...it doesn't matter to me if it doesn't last longer than that. Next time I will just apply one coat.

    EDIT after 2 weeks:

Car still looks great even after heavy rain, the wax is of substantial capability. However, I have decided I can no longer use it as the fact that dust etc. sticks to it and I have to use another product on top of it to solve the problem makes it impractical and ends up being too many steps. Too bad...the look is amazing. I would rate it 4 starts at this point.

On to the next experiment for me! This is my hobby...so I don't mind trying different options.

Easy to apply and remove. I used this product on a BMW X5 (full sized SUV) and only used about an ounce of the wax. I used two MC's and it took about 30 minutes. I would recommend using one cloth to rub in the wax and another to wipe clean. It is too early to determine how well the wax will hold up, but the finished product was great for a simple spray wax. I also used the TW Ice polish and WOW that was worth its weight in gold. SUPER easy to use and the end product was fabulous and being able to use it on different surfaces I could use it on the black plastic molding to give it a great clean shine.

I read a complaint of streaking and they mentioned using an entire bottle. Well if I use an entire bottle of Tide in my laundry its going to overflow with suds. Less is more with this product!
